StARTers LIVE with Michael Brennan Join us on Tuesday, October 17th at 6 pm for a new "StARTers - Assaggi d'Arte" talk with resident artist at the Siena Art Institute Michael Brennan! The event will be held in person at the Siena Art Institute as well as live-streaming online through the Siena Art Institute's YouTube channel and Facebook page (6pm Italy, noon NYC). Brooklyn painter and Pratt Institute adjunct professor Michael Brennan started his residency in Siena a week ago. His work is focused on the notion of mark making while employing diverse media. In the last decade he has been experimenting with a variety of new materials including glass, silver and wax. Through the painting process he tries to connect the mind, the spirit and the hand.
