If you love old farm architecture like I do, you have to stop and check out farm structures you rarely see. Such was the case of okta the Ed Bromeling Farmstead, which started with a simple wooden barn and a stone foundation. Sometime around the 1920s, Ed expanded his farmstead, with clay block purchased from factories near Fort Dodge, Iowa. These blocks had a variety of colors, but mainly a rich brownish-purple. These made for beautiful clay block barn additions, daytona beach a portsmouth news silo, and a drive-in corn crib. You have to see it to believe it!!
