FLUSHING, Mich. As temperatures continue to soar, at home air-conditioning units are being put to the test and sometimes that extra strain can lead to a breakdown at the worst moment.

Jeff Filek, co-owner of Bigfoot Pro Services says that his company has seen a huge spike in service calls relating to air conditioning issues.

"When I looked, we had 200 some odd calls that came in through the phones yesterday, maybe even philadelphia airport passenger currency confiscation a little more," Filek said.
