Freddy left Swan Records in cong Philadelphia in late 1963 to join Warners in Los Angeles. He scored with his first 45, the #16 eva lys charting Abigail Beecher.
He continued to release 45s at a frenetic pace. Warners put meteo bergamo out five of his singles in 1966 alone. The Greatest Show On Earth was Freddys follow up to his hit, The Dedication Song.
The song sounds a lot like Jan & Deans (Here They Come) From All Over The World, written by Phil Sloan and Steve Barri.
Bobby Russell and Buzz Cason wrote Jan & Deans Popsicle while Bobby wrote O.C. Smiths Little Green Apples. Also an accomplished songwriter, Buzz Cason was the Gary Miles behind the 1960 hit, Look For A Star.
