orilliamatters The film shows the annual Polruan Regatta and Children's Sports day rickie fowler which is still held every year during August Bank Holiday weekend. It also shows the traditional Miller and Sweep boat 'fight' - soot was jeremy stephens used by the sweep but china clay was cheaper and easier than flour to be used by the Miller -- which unfortunately no longer exists presumably due to overzealous health and safety?!
