In this LIVE, we discussed AWS deployment and working with critical AWS services. Having this knowledge will really project with strong impression during interview. Since most of the projects are deploying services in cloud infrastructure these days. Like AWS, Azure, GCP.

Here we will deploy java app, MySQL db, and save sensitive data in AWS Secrets Manager service.

AWS Deployment RDS & Secrets Manager

Deployed Spring Boot microservices on AWS EC2 and connected them to an RDS MySQL database.

Configured mining Spring Profiles (local, dev) to support environment-specific deployments without code changes.

Moved sensitive data (API keys) from properties files to AWS Secrets Manager.

Configured IAM Roles to allow EC2 instances to securely read secrets without hardcoded credentials.

Integrated Spring Boot with AWS Secrets Manager using auto-configuration, enabling seamless secret loading via @Value
