🦅🌲 The trees are empty today... so where are Sandy and Luna? Eagle watchers are looking around the Big Bear Valley nest and nearby perches, but Sandy and Luna aren't visible on camera right now. As fledged juvenile bald eagles, Sandy and Luna are becoming increasingly independent. They may be flying around their territory, exploring nearby trees, hunting, resting on a perch outside the camera's view, or simply spending time away from the nest. An empty camera view doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. The Big Bear Valley camera only captures a limited portion of their surroundings. 👀 So where are Sandy and Luna today?
