Time to pull traps out for the season, finish up canning birch syrup, and get the wheel ready to fish. Dennis brought home a beaver that we will use for meat, fur & tools- and we finally wrapped up syrup season. We ended up with a couple gallons of sweetener for the year! Smoked Birch Syrup Glazed BBQ Beaver & shakira Porcupine for dinner over the fire!
