Brackley Soap Box 2013 Verona - Como [LFv95gpSe4y]

Despite a showery afternoon a large crowd was thrilled by 32 soapbox racers competing on the High Street Brackley for the 2013 kneecap title. Congratulations to Doug Peel Yates for successfully defending last years title and Sam Walker for taking the junior title after trying hard over the last few years. Congratulations also to Jack Irwin for best effort cart build and James Tobin who won the raffle to nifty 50 drive the Katharine House Hospice cart and finished a creditable 4th place. Awards were presented by local motor racing legend Barrie 'Whizzo' Williams who also demonstrated his famous Mini Cooper S on the hill.
