1. Skip the legacy Islands like Mykonos or Santorini. These places don’t even feel Greek and are overpriced. There are dozens of alternatives like Lefkada, Evia, or the Peloponnesos. 2. Greece is awesome, but not for citytrips. If you like a traditional citytrip then skip Greece. The big cities like Athens or Thessaloniki are outside of some ancient buildings just sad and dirty. If you have a feeling that Athens is comparable to Rome, well it just isn’t and I was also surprised by that. 3. Only visiting the beaches. Although Greece has Europe’s best beaches. Still make sure to visit the Hinterlands in stunning places like Meteora, Corinth or Sparta 4. Fourth Extremely expensive highways (didn’t make it into the video).
