Los Angeles County election officials are investigating possible election interference after damaged ballots were found inside a ballot box on the weekend of May 30-31. The Long Beach voting center was also vandalized, though officials say voting operations were not disrupted. Officials say a small number of ballots were damaged by fire between scheduled collections at a downtown Los Angeles drop box.
