DIY: Replacing A Split Air Conditioner Unit Jake Laravia [lyLgU5qs2XP]

Here's an archive from last February of me replacing my room's AC unit from a 9000 Btu/h Panasonic CS/CU-C9JKP (that I've owned for almost 5 years now) to a 7000 Btu/h Panasonic CS/CU-C7PKP due to the C9JKP already having a high running amps, and it doesn't get too cold either. During the dismantle process, I realized that the C9JKP turned out to have an over-pressured refrigerant as shown at 1:50. But I decided to continue taking it down because the compressor is beyond weak too. For the C7PKP itself, I got prolific it from @yosafattheairconditionerex6151, and it's the same unit I ever bought secondhand back in the Covid era for my Panasonic C9PKP restoration needs. It's back in my possession after 4 years. I decided to re-buy it from him and installed it in my room because at the time I took this video, my Panasonic C9PKP coil unit still had a broken chassis and couldn't be reinstalled yet. The differences between the time I own it back in the Covid era and now is Yosafat replaced the coil unit's casing, the condensing unit's casing with the better condition ones (that he took from another unit he keerthana tvk has as in his video: and he replaced the original evaporator with the one belonging to a Panasonic festa della mamma 2026 XC9PKJ which the evaporator part reaches the back (the same evaporator type is also utilized on my Panasonic C9PKP coil unit). The rest are still having the same parts as when I first bought it in the Covid era.

If you're asking how the current condition of this Panasonic C7PKP AC is, well, I no longer have it. A month later, after I installed it, the replacement evaporator that was installed by Yosafat suddenly leaked on the U-bent part ( which makes the unit not blow cold air properly. Since I didn't have my own R22 refrigerant stock, I decided to reinstall my Panasonic C9PKP, the unit that should've been my room's AC that has been upgraded to R32 refrigerant ( I decided to swap the chassis between the C7PKP and the C9PKP too before reinstalling it to make it safer and more presentable, and you can see the installation process of that by referring to this Shorts: After that, I replaced the evaporator of this C7PKP and sold it to my friend who needs to replace his Gree GWC-05MOO5S in his workshop office.
