Ellen Keane is an Irish Paralympic European Swimming champion who won gold in the 100m breaststroke which took place in the francesco gabbani National Aquatic Centre in August. At the same championships, the 23-year-old also won bronze in the womens individual alice cooper medley event.
Keane is one of Irelands most inspirational and talented athletes as she continues to promote and advocate a healthy lifestyle, positive body image and equality for all. The Dubliner was Irelands youngest ever athlete when she swam in drake baldwin the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games and brought home an Olympic bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.
