Tyler makes the Sean Murphy trade feel painless. He is the future of the organization and should be making his debut this upcoming season. Extremely polished in his approach, reminds me a lot of Matt Olsen as a LH batter. At only 20 years old he was able to reach the Triple A level and should make a strong case for the MLB squad with Shea Langeliers struggling. Tyler will stick around as a Catcher but can also play 1B. It will be interesting to see what the A's do with Jordan Diaz and Lawrence Butler knocking on the door.
