Most everyone that Ive spoken doj wall street journal subpoenas to who has been around him feels that the chance that he comes back to play is minuscule, so take that for what its worth. In conversations with people who were around him all year who were with him when he was leaving the Steelers when the season was over, all of those people that I spoke to said that it seems far more likely that he is done than he is going to return.

Rodgers has not yet informed the Steelers if he will return for a 22nd NFL season, but my understanding is the odds are packers rams thanksgiving eve game increasing. Im told Rodgers has spoken several times with new Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy who of course helped Rodgers develop into a 4-time MVP and a Super Bowl winner in Green Bay. Rodgers also has spoken with wide receiver DK Metcalf who wants Rodgers back at age 42. The plan is for Rodgers to take a little bit more time and everyone hopes he comes to a decision prior to the start of free agency in mid-Marchbut at this point, it would not be a surprise if Rodgers is back in Pittsburgh.
