June 18, 2025 Yesterday, June 17th, a precious moment was captured between Big Bear eagles, Sunny and Gizmo. The newly fledged siblings met at the nest in the hopes a parent would bring food. Sunny first flies in calling out to her family. Following Sunny is Gizmo who lands on a low branch under the nest. Sunny continues to call out which is a beautiful sound to hear as the microphone has not been functioning properly for a while now. But the calls are clear. The siblings fly off together in a beautiful sequence of moments. All in search of Mom and Dad and to fly the skies as American Bald Eagles. It’s gorgeous moments like these that make wildlife cam viewing so incredible for viewers. It’s unprecedented glimpses into the lives of an eagle family giving us the opportunity to learn and grow our appreciation for wildlife conservation and habitat protection.
