Was Spider-Man: Far From Home a Step Back? [TqYCsn52seg]
Spider-Man: Far From Home gives Peter Parker one of his most creative villains yet. Jake Gyllenhaal is fantastic as Mysterio, the illusion sequences are incredible, and Tom Holland does a great job showing Peter’s grief after losing Tony Stark. But the constant comedy and school-trip storyline weaken the tension, making parts of the movie feel more like an MCU vacation than a true Spider-Man story. I’m reviewing every live-action Spider-Man movie before Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
