Dusty Ray Spencer (74) is scheduled to be executed in Florida on June 25, 2026. Spencer was sentenced to death for the 1992 murder of his wife, Karen Spencer (40), in their back yard in Orange County, Florida, shortly after being released from jail for domestic battery of his wife. He was declared dead at 6:10pm local time. With his last words while strapped to the gurney, Spencer said, "Sorry, sorry to the family. Into thy hands I commit my spirit and my soul. I'm on my way, Lord. I'm on my way. Amen."
