Curtis Lee Windom (59) is scheduled to be executed in Florida on August 28, 2025 for the 1992 murders of his friend, Johnnie Lee (23), his girlfriend, Valerie Davis (27), and Valerie's mom, Mary Lubin (41) in Winter Garden (Orange County), Florida. All three murders occurred at separate times in different locations. My sincere apologies for mistakenly using a photo that appears at 2:13 2:46 7:52 and 9:13 of a CURTIS LEE WINDOM of WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA who IS NOT the Curtis Lee Windom scheduled to be executed. It is a photo of his son who has the same name and residence where the crime occurred. UPDATE (THURSDAY, AUGUST 28, 2025): Curtis Lee Windom (59) was executed this evening in Florida. His official time of death was 6:17pm local time. Media witnesses reported that when Windom was asked if he would like to speak any last words, he did say something but it was "unintelligible". Windom was served a special final meal request that consisted of ribs, baked beans, collard greens, potato salad, a slice of pie, ice cream, and a soda. - Windom was the 11th execution in Florida this year and 30th in the United States.
