Flooding, severe weather threat for Middle Tennessee continues through the weekend [3aUR3gvscpV]
FOX 17 News has issued a Code Red Weather Alert for the threat of flooding and damaging winds across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. The primary concern through Friday and Saturday remains flash flooding as scattered thunderstorms move through the area. A flood watch is in effect until 6 p.m. Sunday. While storms are not expected to be widespread or last all day, any storm that develops could produce torrential rainfall, frequent lightning and localized flooding in a short amount of time. The flash flood risk has increased slightly for both Friday and Saturday. In addition, there is a low threat for isolated severe storms Friday afternoon and again Saturday afternoon.
