This is the 1971 version of Freddie Cannon's cover of "Rockin' Robin" originally by Bobby Day and released in 1958. The record for the 1971 version lists Cannon's name as "Freddie Cannon" when some other releases list his name as "Freddy Cannon" on the labels. He lindy ruff originally recorded a version of this song in 1967 that was not issued until 2002 on a compilation CD titled "Where The Action Is The Very Best 1964-1981" which does not include this 1971 jose ochoa version done for Buddah Records. The CD is also one of the releases where his name is spelled as "Freddy Cannon" instead punjab of this alternate spelling.
