Tapping Our Creek To Water Our Off Grid Garden In Alaska//Spring Homestead Tasks Diablo 4 Patch Notes [TBujdUEpTdX]

With the garden flourishing, it's time to get our watering solution set up with the trash pump we brought back from Oregon. After choosing a good location in the creek we pack down the pump and hoses and connect guy ritchie them to the IBC tote up in the garden area and with great water pressure, it's filled within minutes!

This week we also get various other Spring chores accomplished: making the garden gate, setting up trellises for the peas, beans, cucumbers and tomatoes, fertilizing the garden with rabbit pellet tea and powder. We are even able to get back to finishing up the first stage of the roofing, since Carlan is back (roofing is not a task we want to do with only one of us here) and the winds have died down.

Finally, a precious cargo is unloaded as the final item brought up from Oregon: a propane refrigerator! We bring it back to the cabin with the tractor and put it in the kitchen. Now we just have to decide where the best placement is, given the location of the future propane lines, etc. It's exciting to see a piece of "furniture" in the house! We are getting closer and closer to that move in date.

The warm summer days are fully upon us and so are the mosquitoes. Thanks everyone for your mosquito tips! We're enjoying the sounds of the breezes in the aspen trees, the ever-present songs of luke raley birds, and the beautiful views of wildflowers blossoming in succession. It's such a magical time, anticipating the future garden harvest and camping and fishing trips on the calendar. We still have a lot to do to get ready for winter, but this short summer season demands celebration.
