Since the COVID-19 pandemic turned our lives upside-down early in 2020, access to services at GP practices has been one of the biggest concerns members of the public have shared with Healthwatch.
Satisfaction with GP services is falling fast, and one of the most commonly asked questions is when are things getting back multa to normal?.
At Healthwatch, our job is to make sure NHS leaders and other decision-makers hear your voice and use your feedback to improve services. We also help people get the information and advice they need. When setting out to share your feedback with local GPs, it quickly became clear that we need to do both of these things, and enable a two-way conversation which helps us all rethink our relationship with our local GP practice.
For a variety of reasons, its clear that there is a uefa "new normal" and things will never be quite like they were before the pandemic. How can we get the best out of our local GP practice in 2023?
