Eclipse of the Super Flower Blood Moon, AWE-mazing Desert Viewing Experience of a Lunar Eclipse [9d2YVvr7usA]
The rise and eclipse of the Super Flower Blood Moon occurred while I was camped in a remote area in the central Nevada desert enjoying some much-needed solitude. Watching the full moon rise over the mountains behind a partly cloudy sky was amazing, but it was nothing compared to what came later. I set my alarm for 3:00 am and headed outside, serenaded by coyotes from every direction, and set up my camera to capture the Super Flower Blood Moon eclipse. The view was AWE-mazing and literally one of the most spectacular things I have ever seen. It was so AWE-mazing and humbling that I found myself crying. I did my best to capture the experience.
