A man who murdered a Winthrop teen in the early 80s has been executed in Florida. 74-year-old Dennis Sochor died via a three-drug injection last night. He was convicted of killing 18-year-old Patricia Gifford on January 1,1982 in Broward County - beating her to death after she refused to have sex with him.
