One of the biggest surprises in the Idaho 4 case came this week when defense cell phone data expert Sy "Sly" Ray stated during an interview with Custody Queens Off the Clock that he now believes Bryan Kohberger committed the murders. That statement immediately raised questions across the true crime community. In this clip from IDAHO 4 LIVE!, I examine why I disagree with Sy Ray's conclusions and discuss whether his opinion could be influenced by the fact that much of his business involves selling law enforcement software and providing police training. I also explore the possibility that his comments could be viewed as appealing to his primary customer base.
