San Diego Wave FC welcomed Seattle Reign FC to the Snapdragon stadium in a keenly contested NWSL game. Reign FC started off as tye better soide and they had the better chances during the game but couodnt capitalised. As tge game pregresses San Diego Wave began to grow into the game. Alex Morgan scored a goal that was ruled offside in the 89th minute. In the 97th minute Emily Van Egmond popped up in the box and scored the winner after she latched on to a deflected sgot from Alex Morgan.
