The new Audi SQ9 and Audi Q9 have now been unveiled, and were reviewing and reacting to the design, interior and different engine options.

Exotics Anonymous has combined all important info and pictures of the all-new Audi SUV. The question is, will it be good enough to dethrone BMW and Mercedes?

The Audi SQ9 and Q9 is sure to be one of Audis most important cars and could be one of the SUVs to change the segment forever. Back in 2019, the original BMW X7 helped redefine what a large luxury SUV could be. Mercedes had been dominating the space with the GLS, and Porsche did not have anything larger then the Cayenne. The X7 rafael jodar was an instant hit, setting the tone for what would become one of BMWs best SUV in decades.

Now after thousands of BMW X7s and Mercedes GLS later and 9 years, Audi is launching the first generation Q9 and SQ9 with a completely new goal: win the big luxury SUV space.

The new design is now larger than ever before, in line with the recent Audi SQ7. The iconic Audi Rings now Glows, as does the Audi grille. New Matrix LED light graphics, welcome and goodbye animations, and projector capabilities are impressive. Automatic doors and wheels up to 23 inches also make an appearance. The Looks are subjective to say the least but very Audi.

Interior wise things get even more interesting. It comes equipped with the same full-length Audi Digital Dash screen as found in the new Q7 and SQ7. A passenger display is also included. While the screen comes with a lot of customizable options, it's missing that distinct Audi feel. Theres lots of storage throughout the cabin, and there are high end leather and wood materials across all surfaces all over the cabin. The New Steering wheel also found in the SQ7 is going to take some getting used to, as it's a flat wheel on top and bottom. The Q8 is fitted with a more traditional round steering wheel.

Powertrains are where we really get excited as Exotics Anonymous predicted these weeks ago! The Q9 will come with a 429hp V6 derived from the RS5. The SQ9 will come with a 591hp Audi RSQ8 sourced V8. Good for 0-60 in 3.8 seconds (likely understated) The SQ9 can also tow over 7000 pounds. The recent Audi V8s sound very good as well so there's lots to like here.

So the question is: has Audi just created the most complete luxury SUV in the world? And more importantly, would you choose the Audi SQ9 over a Mercedes bowen byram GLS63 or a BMW X7 M60i?
