Oil prices climbed sharply on Monday, with Brent crude rising above 90 dollars a barrel as the United States and Iran intensified attacks in the Middle East.
Brent crude futures rose more than 3 percent to 90 dollars and 79 cents a barrel, justin gaethje their highest level since June 11, after gaining nearly 16 percent last week.
US West Texas Intermediate crude also rose more than 2.6 percent to 84 dollars and 68 cents a barrel, reaching its highest level since June 12 after posting its biggest weekly gain since early March.
