Kody Clemens made an impact on both offense & defense for the Minnesota Twins in their 8-6 loss to the Kansas City Royals on Thursday, June 4th. In the top of the 3rd inning Kody made a running and stumbling catch on a foul pop fly from Salvador Perez. Clemens then came to the plate in the bottom of the 3rd and attacked a first pitch curve from Seth Lugo, and drove it 414-FT with an exit velo of 101.4 MPH for a solo home run, his 7th of the season. He would come to the plate again in the bottom of the 5th where he turned on a 1-1 sweeper and sent it 379-FT over the right field wall with a 101.7 MPH exit velo.
