#truecrime #CriminalRecords #crimepodcast Ronald Palmer Heath, also known as Ronnie Heath, 64, was executed in Florida on February 10, 2026. Heath had been sentenced to death for the brutal murder of traveling salesman Michael Sheridan. According to records, in May 1989 Heath and his brother Kenneth met Sheridan at a bar in Gainesville and agreed to go to a secluded location to smoke marijuana. On the way, the brothers planned to rob him. When they arrived at a rural area, Kenneth Heath pulled out a gun and demanded the victim’s belongings; when Sheridan initially resisted, Kenneth shot him once in the chest. While Sheridan emptied his pockets, Ronald Heath kicked him and stabbed him in the neck with a hunting knife. Kenneth Heath then finished him off with two shots to the head. After the attack, the brothers left the body in a wooded area and returned to Gainesville, where they used the victim’s stolen credit cards to make purchases. Days later, Ronald was arrested in Georgia with items bought using those cards and the victim’s watch; Kenneth was captured afterward. In 1990, Heath was convicted of first-degree murder, armed robbery, and related charges in Sheridan’s death. Kenneth Heath reached a plea agreement with prosecutors and received a life sentence.
