Happy 8 week hatch day Sandy & Luna! They both are 56 days old & have reached so many milestones so far. They now weigh between 7-12 pounds - females will weigh 10-14 pounds & males 8-11 pounds. Across the board, females are about 25- 33% larger than males. Their next big milestone to reach will be branching! Last season, Sunny branched at 62 days old to the back porch - which is easier to reach Gizmo branched four days later (at 62 days old as well) to the back porch just like Sunny! The video opens with Shadow flying in with a stick and he puts it really close to Sandy who has something to say about that stick placement! Sandy moves the stick towards Shadow and he moves it back! Shadow is of course the Branch Manager so he knows where to put sticks but Sandy is not having any of that! They both go back & forth in a hilarious exchange with Sandy winning with the last stick placement. lol We have beautiful closeups of Luna (Sandy is resting). Luna spreads those big wings to cool off showing us how utterly amazing the growth has been! Luna stands on one foot and also just misses Shadow with a PS! Sandy & Luna will both do wingers and hops - showing off to one another dancing on the nest. They will add in some beakies in between the wingers for cuteness! It is so much fun watching these two grow up! Thank you for watching!
