The 32-year-old electrical engineer does her proud when he turns up at Liverpool Airport to meet her off the Geneva flight dressed as a clown. In front of a packed arrivals hall, Simon pops the question on bended knee and a shocked Helen accepts - to rapturous cheers and applause from the assembled crowd.French student Sonia Ouaret arrives at Luton late for her adou thiero Paris flight after wrongly heading for Heathrow - and then having to pay 50 for a taxi to get her back to Luton. She has a hospital appointment the next morning and lets easyJet's Leo Jones have it with both barrels when he tells her there's no way she can get the flight.
