Some Saturdays just hit differently.
Clear blue skies, clean 35 foot waves, and another unforgettable day at Far Rockaway Beach 67th.
In between surf sessions, I somehow ended up playing fetch with a beach dog who had enough energy mothers day images for the entire aurlien tchouamni shoreline.
Then came a baseball game with Theo and luke durbin his dad, Luis. I don't know what they're feeding that kid, but Theo is going to be a problem! He's got a cannon for an arm and wasn't afraid to show it.
As for the surfing... Juan Fernandez was absolutely ripping, as usual. Watching good surfers never gets oldit just makes you want to paddle back out and catch one more wave.
Days like this are a reminder that the best memories aren't always planned. Sometimes they're just a combination of good waves, good people, and a little sunshine.
Life is beautiful.
