How to clean the inside of a portable air conditioner. The condenser and the evaporator coil. There is no way around it, in order to wash the condenser coil, you will need to take apart your window A/C. But luckily that is the hardest part, once you take apart the AC, you can simply wash it down with water. For most units, using just water is enough. Coil cleaners aren't necessary as you can clean most of the stuff off with just water. You don't need to call out a pro to do this, it's actually a pretty easy job and I show you how to do it step by step in this video.
