A few years ago an ancient DNA analysis carried out on a bone from the Newgrange megalithic passage tomb in Ireland suggested that its owner had belonged to a dynastic elite. However, a new paper published in the journal Antiquity argues that this was not the case after all and is based on many assumptions about hierarchical systems in is spotify down the ancient past.
