Tornado Risk: A 5% risk exists primarily over North Carolina, with the Triad, Triangle, and Eastern North Carolina identified as potential hot spots for a spin-up.

Hail: There is a 5% chance of damaging hail reaching one inch in size or larger.

Estimated Timing & Locations:

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Discrete, isolated storms may begin popping up near Greensboro and the mountains toward Asheville.

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: A main line of storms is expected to push south, oasis impacting the Charlotte Metro Area and shifting toward the Sandhills region.
