Big Bear eggs typically hatch 37-40 days after laying! After the first pip is seen, there is usually a hatch 24-48 hours later! Can't wait!!!!!!!! ♥♥♥♥ The normal hatching of the eggs for Jackie & Shadow is 37-39 days. Jackie is on the nest in the early evening hours and she begins to alert over raven activity that she sees. She will fly off the nest & go to the Cactus Snag and Shadow joins her. Both see ravens flying overhead - too close to their nest and territory so the double team them. Shadow goes to the nest to make sure the eggs are okay while Jackie chases them off. There is still activity and they remain on alert for some time. Shadow will return to the nest briefly but then fly off & join Jackie on CS again. Jackie flies right back to the nest so the eggs are protected. They make a great team! Thank you for watching!
