Railway police in Secunderabad, along with RPF officials, caught a man carrying Rs 1.22 crore in cash on the Devagiri Express train going from Mumbai to Hyderabad. The man, Vijay Ambadas Gupta (40), is from Maharashtra’s Amaravati district. Officials said he was checked during a routine inspection between Bollaram and Malkajgiri stations on May 26 at around 3 pm after he was found carrying a bag in a suspicious way. During questioning, he said he had received the money from a person in Mumbai and was supposed to deliver it to another person in Secunderabad for a jewellery business. He was promised Rs 5,000 for the delivery. Police said he could not provide any documents or clear explanation for the cash, so it was seized. The total cash recovered was Rs 1.22 crore in different denominations. Officials are now investigating where the money came from and where it was going. --- Rs 1.22 Crore Seized | Telangana Crime News | Devagiri Express Cash Case | Hyderabad Breaking News | Railway Police Operation | Illegal Cash Seizure India | Secunderabad Train Inspection | Hawala Money Investigation | Crime News Today | RPF Latest Action | Firstpost | News Live | World News | Latest News | Global News | International News | News | Trending News #telangana #cashseized #breakingnews #hyderabad #railwaypolice #crime #secunderabad #india #trainnews #moneyseizure #firstpost #newslive #worldnews #latestnews #globalnews #news #internationalnews #trendingnews Firstpost is an Indian news and media website.
