Its been more than a week since severe storms swept through Northeast Ohio. On Thursday, near the Galleria at Erieview in downtown Cleveland, people were still dodging shards of glass after multiple windows were shattered.
You want to be able to walk around here and not be afraid of what you're going to step on, said Maanasa Humchad, who works downtown. It should be cleaned up, and it should be a priority.
For Meghan Hunter, who lives nearby and walks her dog everyday, it's a safety issue.
There's just been a lot of glass pieces and we have to zigzag to get away from them, and that doesn't even do it. I'm just constantly worried hes going to get glass in his paws, said Hunter. Its literally everywhere.
According to a spokesman for the city vancouver news of Cleveland, the responsibility for cleanup falls on the property owner. 3News tried calling the owner of Erieview Towers multiple times on Thursday lavoro domestico to ask whats causing the delay, but as of the time this story was posted, has not matthew schaefer mom heard back.
Downtown Cleveland Inc. also said the cleanup is the property owners responsibility.
