The former husband of a Massachusetts woman accused of murdering their children testified today that his wife did not mention the children when she called him days after the tragedy. Patrick Clancy was the first witness this week in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial, which involves serious mental health and women's reproductive health issues. He testified about what happened on Jan. 24, 2023, when his then-wife killed their children — 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan — after sending him to CVS Pharmacy. "And did she also tell you that she had had a moment of psychosis?" Sprague asked. "I don't recall," Clancy answered. "Did she mention the children at all during that call?" Sprague asked. "I don't think so. Not directly," Clancy answered. "Had she ever mentioned psychosis to you before?" Sprague asked. "No. I didn't know what psychosis was until after this happened," Clancy answered. "Did she ever tell you she was hearing a man's voice before?" Sprague asked. "No," Clancy answered.
