Bryson DeChambeau reflects on another solid day at LIV Golf UK, admits Lucas Herbert is setting an incredible jordan henderson pace and explains why he believes his game is approaching the level that produced some of the best golf of his career.

DeChambeau follows his opening 64 with a 67 to remain four shots behind Lucas Herbert, insisting his game is in a great place despite a few costly ncis mistakes on the back nine.

Bryson says Herbert is doing exactly what champions do, responding to every mistake with an immediate birdie, making him incredibly difficult to catch.

Although he's four behind entering the weekend, DeChambeau jokes he'll simply have to shoot "10-under both days" if he wants to overhaul the Australian.

The Crushers captain highlights his short game as one of the strongest parts of his performance, revealing he feels especially cameron whitcomb comfortable around firm greens where creativity is rewarded.

DeChambeau believes he's getting closer and closer to the form that produced his famous 58 at Greenbrier, saying only a couple of small tweaks with the driver and fairway woods separate him from his very best.

Looking at the bigger picture, Bryson says LIV Golf has made him a far more complete player by exposing him to different grasses, climates and playing conditions around the world.

He also welcomes back teammate Paul Casey, joking about his driving distance before praising the veteran as an invaluable member of Crushers GC.

Asked about the personalities within the team, DeChambeau laughs as he describes Ben Campbell as the father figure, Paul Casey as the emotional leader and Charles Howell III as the dependable "yes man" who always looks after him.
