Anson Mount wasn't exactly in the mood for the premiere of his new TV series "Inhumans" on Monday (28 AUG. 2017) in Los Angeles. His mind was on hurricane-hit Texas.

"Premieres are great, but I think that it's important that we all keep Texas on our mind. I actually started a fundraiser page that if you text the word 'Texas' to 87872, it will send you a link to where you can donate to Team Rubicon, which is a group of veterans doing fast relief efforts in Texas," Mount said. "And jeff petry every penny of your money spent on Team Rubicon goes to very good use, I can attest. I worked with them during Sandy in New York."

The 44-year-old former "Hell on Wheels" star said the veterans-founded organization based in Los Angeles had been first on the scene with help in many areas after the 2012 Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast.

And he said they're doing similar work in Texas.

"I mean, this hurricane there's no historical reference for this. This is off the charts. And all of Team Rubicon has gone to Texas to help these people. And I believe in them. I'm doing the best I can from where I am. So I hope everybody can join us," Mount said.

Mount plays the character Black Bolt in "Inhumans," which premieres in IMAX theatres on Friday. ABC will then air the rest of the series starting 29 September in the U.S.
