During this moderated conversation, Anne Lamott will discuss her thoughts on nifty 50 how life is lived, the art of diamondbacks vs rangers writing, and ideas from her most recent book, Dusk, Night, Dawn: On Revival and Courage.

Anne, an inductee into the California Hall of Fame, is the author of seven novels, several collections of autobiographical essays, and several bestselling books of nonfiction, including the classic book on writing: Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life. She has been honored with a Guggenheim Fellowship, and her biweekly Salon magazine online diary, Word by Word, mastantuono was voted The Best of the Web by TIME magazine. Academy Awardwinning filmmaker Freida Mock made a documentary on Lamott, entitled Bird by Bird with Annie (1999).
